Once you decide you would like to hire an apprentice we will meet with you to understand the individual nature of your setting and explain the LEYF apprenticeship model.
From this point we will introduce you to an apprentice that is a good match to your setting and requirements. If you and the apprentice agree there is a good fit, then the apprentice will commence working with you while undertaking weekly training with LEYF.
A LEYF apprenticeship is CACHE registered and runs between 12-18 months. As an employer you are required to comply with UK employment law with regards to apprentices and pay the apprenticeship minimum wage.
We have found that a work-based mentor for the apprentice works so well that it has become a feature of our apprenticeship model.
Training is one day a week and takes place at LEYF Head Office in Westminster. The apprentice has a number of assignments to complete over the duration of the programme in order to qualify.
