When you make the choice to bring your child to one of our nurseries, you will quickly discover more than just great daycare; instead you will find yourself entering a real partnership with a team of professional and caring individuals, committed to helping both you and your child get the most out of their most crucial, early years.
Our relationship with parents is very much a two way process; always keeping you informed about your child’s time and progress at nursery, whilst building on your personal knowledge of their likes and dislikes at home.
In fact, rather than merely exchanging a quick ‘hello’ and ‘goodbye’ as you drop-off and collect, parents are welcome in the nursery during the day, as many take part in activities with their children – and even help make some of our more significant outings possible.
For times when you don’t have time to talk, each nursery displays daily messages on information and curriculum planning boards, and produces a regular printed newsletter. We also publish ‘LEYF News’ twice a year, with stories and updates from across the organisation.
Alongside parents’ evenings and other fun events to help you get more involved, we run a number of workshops - for instance to bolster your child’s development and learning at home, or give you tips on preparing nutritious meals they will love to eat. These are also the perfect opportunity for you to get to know other local parents, which then provides a great network of additional support and friendship for you and your child outside the nursery.
